Adoption Insider: Fall in Love with Leo!

It’s Saturday morning at HSNEGA, and do you know what that means?? It’s a beautiful day to come adopt love at our Adoption Center! With National Puppy Day being this past week, we thought it was fit to feature a pup who has quickly captured all of our hearts here at HSNEGA: Meet Leo!

IMG_6157Leo is a 5-month-old Collie mix who is just as precious as they come. He arrived at HSNEGA about a month ago with his three sisters, all of whom have since been adopted. Though it’s taken him a bit longer to adjust to all of the changes happening around him, Leo is quickly showing us that he would make an invaluable friend in someone’s life.

Upon first look, Leo is quite the handsome gentleman. His caramel color, white front feet and the tip on his tail are all distinctive qualities that set him apart from the rest! He has a twinkle in his eye that speak for both his inquisitive and kind demeanor. The name “Leo” is surely fitting for him, as well; he has the heart of a lion!

Leo is still a bit unsure of what us humans have to offer him in life. Since coming to HSNEGA, though, he has opened up slowly and is starting to show his gentle personality. Though he is a bit quiet and reserved inside, as soon as he gets outside he perks right up. HSNEGAleoHe surely is a sight to see, as he prances around the play area with his ears up and tongue out!

We think Leo would be very happy with a confident, socialized dog friend to play with in his furever home. He loves running alongside other HSNEGA pups when out in the exercise yard and seems very interested in playing! Additionally, we think another dog could help to show him the ropes of his new life and help him to gain confidence around his new human. His personality would blossom in no time!

If you think you might be just the right human for precious Leo, why don’t you come on down to our Adoption Center and give him some love? Our Adoption Center hours are Monday-Saturday 10 am-5 pm and Sunday 12-5pm. As a reminder, HSNEGA will be closed tomorrow, March 27, for Easter Sunday.
